Arijac, a native son of Gonaves, Haiti, had formal schooling though international correspondence courses in architecture and worked as a draftsman for noted artist Sacha Thebauds ( aka Tebo) architecture firm.  He was taught to paint in the ancient encaustic method, using an iron with a combination of beeswax, pigment and turpentine to craft his imagery.

His work has been exhibited at the French Institute, American Institute, Sao Paolo Biennial and New York.  Arijac is considered one of Haiti’s most accomplished and finest painters.
