Prosper Pièrre-Louis 1947-1997
is a Haitian born in Bainet, near Jacmel.
One of the main contributors of the Saint Soleil art movement.
He was one of the Cinq Soleil (five Suns: Levoy Exil, Louisiane Saint Fleurant, Dieuseul Paul, Denis Smith) art movement. These artists had branched out of the Saint Soleil movement. He died in 1997 of an asthma attack.
Abner Dubic

Abner Dubic was born in Leogane and settled in Port-au-Prince. As a young artist, he was initially inspired by Gabriel Levêque and later developed his own unique style. He is most well-known for his realistic landscape depictions of the Haitian countryside and authentic cultural events.
Dubic’s paintings are exhibited in galleries in New York, Chicago and Paris and are an integral part of several private collections.
