Prosper Pièrre-Louis 1947-1997
is a Haitian born in Bainet, near Jacmel.
One of the main contributors of the Saint Soleil art movement.
He was one of the Cinq Soleil (five Suns: Levoy Exil, Louisiane Saint Fleurant, Dieuseul Paul, Denis Smith) art movement. These artists had branched out of the Saint Soleil movement. He died in 1997 of an asthma attack.

Levoy Exil
is a Haitian artist born in 1944.
He is one of the leaders of the Saint Soleil art movement. His work branched from impressionism. He developed his own technique of distinct small dots to reveal his images that were inspired by his spirituality. He was one of the Cinq Soleil (five Suns: Prosper Pièrre-Louis, Louisiane Saint Fleurant, Dieuseul Paul, Denis Smith) art movement. These artists had branched out of the Saint Soleil movement. Exil has been featured in Galeries in Europe and the United States.
